Our manufacturing philosophy
The Decisions Before the Sewing Line
A design may look right on paper and still fail in production.
The fabric may have the right composition but the wrong recovery. A sample may look good when static but move poorly on the body. A construction detail may work in one size but create problems after grading. A logo position may look correct on a sample and shift once the size range changes.
Once these problems reach bulk production, they become much more expensive to correct.
SunSync grew around the idea that these decisions should be solved earlier — before cutting, before hundreds of garments are sewn, and before the finished order reaches the buyer.
Solve the Decisions Earlier.
For us, manufacturing begins by asking better questions before production starts.
Better Questions Come First
Many suppliers begin with one question: “How many pieces do you need?”
We believe there are questions that should come first.
- What is the product designed to do?
- How should it fit?
- What should the fabric feel like?
- Where will the product be worn?
- Which details are essential to the design?
- Which details could be adjusted to improve production?
- What is the target market?
- What must remain consistent from sample to bulk — and from the first order to the next?
This is the kind of conversation we believe should happen before a quotation becomes a production order.
A Better Product Starts With Understanding.
It is built by understanding what can actually be made well.
